Boss Battles

Boss Battles in Pokémon Everworld Online are challenging PvE encounters where players face off against exceptionally powerful Boss Pokémon. Unlike standard wild encounters, Boss Battles feature unique mechanics, stat enhancements, and exclusive reward systems.

Battle Mechanics

Boss encounters operate differently than standard wild Pokémon battles. Players must be prepared for a tougher fight due to the following mechanics:

  • Stat Boosts: Boss Pokémon are significantly stronger than their regular counterparts. Depending on the specific boss, they receive a boost of between 1 and 3 stages to all of their Stats. This makes them hit harder, move faster, and take much more damage to defeat.
  • Item Restrictions: Pokéballs cannot be used during a boss battle. You cannot catch a boss mid-fight; your only objective is to defeat it.

Post-Battle Rewards

Once a player successfully defeats a Boss Pokémon, the game performs exactly two RNG (Random Number Generation) rolls to determine the player's rewards:

1. Drop Table Roll

The first roll checks the boss's specific Drop Table. This determines what items, materials, or currencies the player receives for winning the battle.

2. Join Roll

The second roll determines if the defeated boss will join the player's team. Instead of catching the boss with a Pokéball, a successful Join Roll will automatically add the Boss Pokémon to the player's Party (or send it to the PC if the party is full).

Note: Not all Boss Pokémon have the ability to join the player. Certain story or event bosses are restricted and will only provide items from the Drop Table roll.
