Froslass, the Snow Land Pokémon, is a hauntingly beautiful presence within the Tinsel Forest. Legend says it was born from the soul of a woman who was lost on a snowy mountain. On Tinsel Island, it drifts through the decorated pines, luring travelers into the cold with its eerie cries and frozen illusions.

Boss Encounter: Froslass

This encounter features a "Fast Disruptor" strategy. Froslass uses its high speed and Ghost-type trickery to disorient the player, aiming to take an opponent down with it should it ever find itself on the verge of defeat.

Battle Strategy

  • The Destiny Bond Gamble: Froslass’s most dangerous tool is Destiny Bond. If it uses this move and you knock it out in the same turn, your Pokémon will be fainted instantly as well. Watch its health carefully and use status moves or wait for the effect to wear off before dealing the finishing blow.
  • Confusion and Evasion: It leads with Confuse Ray to make your attacks unreliable. Combined with its high speed, it can be difficult to land a clean hit before it chips away at your health with Shadow Ball or Ice Beam.
  • STAB Bolt-Beam Alternative: Its Ice/Ghost typing provides excellent neutral coverage. Very few Pokémon resist both moves, making it a threat to Dragon, Grass, and Psychic types alike.
  • Fragile Defenses: Despite holding Leftovers, Froslass is very physically frail. Strong physical moves from Dark, Steel, or Rock types (like **Crunch**, **Bullet Punch**, or **Rock Slide**) will likely take it down in one or two hits.
  • Status Counterplay: Using a Pokémon with the **Own Tempo** ability prevents confusion entirely, making Froslass much easier to manage.
