Route 16 is an east-west route located in central Kanto, serving as the northern entrance to the famous Pokémon Path (Cycling Road). It is well-known for being the resting place of a particularly stubborn Snorlax.

A massive Pokémon blocks the path, requiring a Poké Flute to initiate combat.
