Battle Strategy
- Elemental Versatility: Zapdos utilizes the powerful Hurricane and Thunderbolt combination, allowing it to strike almost any opponent for neutral or super-effective damage.
- Defensive Utility: With Boost Level 3 and heavy investment in Defense and Speed, Zapdos is surprisingly tanky. It can use Roost to recover HP and shed its Flying-type weaknesses for one turn, while Heal Bell ensures it cannot be stalled out by status conditions like Toxic or Burn.
- Counterplay: Ground-type Pokémon are immune to its STAB Thunderbolt but must be wary of high-neutral damage from Hurricane. Ice and Rock-type moves are recommended to break through its defenses effectively.
