Dodrio, the Triple Bird Pokémon, is a frantic and formidable presence within the geometric landscapes of Tumblecube Island. Its three heads represent joy, sorrow, and anger, allowing it to maintain a 360-degree watch over its territory. In battle, it uses its powerful legs to deliver devastating kicks and high-speed aerial strikes, making it one of the most aggressive physical threats on the island.

Boss Encounter: Dodrio

This encounter features a "Fast Physical Sweeper" strategy. Dodrio relies on its immense Speed and Attack to overwhelm challengers before they can set up. With its Lum Berry and diverse coverage, it is designed to maintain momentum and punish defensive switching.

Battle Strategy

  • High-Speed Offense: With maxed Speed EVs and the +2 Boss boost, Dodrio will almost always move first. Its Brave Bird and Return are exceptionally powerful STAB moves that can one-shot many non-resistant Pokémon.
  • The Lum Berry Safety Net: Dodrio holds a Lum Berry, meaning the first attempt to paralyze, burn, or sleep it will fail. This prevents players from using status to mitigate its speed advantage immediately.
  • Coverage and Disruption: Jump Kick allows Dodrio to strike Rock and Steel types that would otherwise resist its STAB moves. Additionally, Knock Off is a major threat, as it can permanently remove your Pokémon's held item for the duration of the fight.
  • Recoil Exploitation: Brave Bird deals significant recoil damage to Dodrio. A viable strategy is to use bulky Pokémon with **Protect** or high HP to let Dodrio wear itself down through recoil, though its +2 HP boost makes this a long process.
  • Rock and Steel Counters: Despite having Jump Kick, high-defense Steel or Rock types (like Aggron or Golem) are your best bet. Be wary of the **Knock Off** which will strip their defensive items like Leftovers or Eviolite.
