Battle Strategy
- Brute Force: Marowak’s primary threat is its held Thick Club, which doubles its base Attack. Even at a lower level, its physical moves like Earthquake can devastate a team that isn't prepared for the sheer damage output.
- Dangerous Coverage: Outrage provides high-neutral damage against almost everything, though it will leave Marowak confused after 2-3 turns. Skull Bash increases its Defense on the first turn, making it even harder to take down physically before it strikes.
- Status Hazard: Body Slam has a significant chance to paralyze your team, making it difficult to outspeed and finish off the boss.
- Counterplay: Since this Marowak has heavy investment in Special Defense but less in Physical Defense (despite its EVs), strong Water or Grass-type physical moves can be effective. A Pokémon with the Levitate ability or a Flying-type is essential to avoid its powerful Earthquake.
