Twinleaf Town is a small, secluded town located at the southernmost tip of Sinnoh. It serves as the starting point of the player's journey and the shared hometown of both the protagonist and their rival. Though modest in size and lacking most standard services, the town carries particular significance as the place where the adventure begins. A calm pond borders the town's southern edge, home to several Water-type Pokémon accessible once the player obtains Surf.

Layout & Environment
The town of Twinleaf is one of the smallest in Sinnoh, consisting of just four residential buildings set amid open fields and surrounded by trees. The town has a distinctly rural character—unhurried, peaceful, and framed by natural vegetation. To the south, a tranquil body of water lies just beyond the land area, inaccessible until the player obtains the Surf HM. The layout is compact and easy to navigate, with the two houses facing each other, separated by a small open path.:
