Wally is a prominent rival for the player throughout the Hoenn region. Initially a frail boy who requires the player's help to catch his first Pokémon in Petalburg City, he grows into a formidable trainer, eventually challenging the player at the end of Victory Road.

Victory Road Battle

At the exit of Victory Road, Wally challenges the player with a fully evolved and highly competitive team. This battle serves as the final test before the player enters the Pokémon League.
