Route 101 is the first route in the Hoenn region, connecting the player's hometown of Littleroot to the north. It is a lush path characterized by tall grass and small ledges.
Starter Pokémon Selection
Upon your first entry to Route 101, you will trigger an event where Professor Birch is being chased by a wild Zigzagoon. You must select a Poké Ball from his bag to rescue him.
