Located on the eastern side of town, this is where Professor Birch studies Pokémon habitats in Hoenn.

• Function: Players receive their first Pokémon here after rescuing Professor Birch on Route 101.

Player's House

Located in the southwest corner of town.

• Function: The player's home base.
• NPCs: Mom (heals player's Pokémon).
• Items:
  • Exp. Share (found in the bedroom).
  • Potion (found in the PC).

May's House

Located just north of the player's house.

• Function: The home of the player's rival, May.
• NPCs: May (found on the 2nd floor, required event).
