Rock Tunnel is a large, naturally dark cave located in northeastern Kanto. It serves as the only land-based passage between the northern mountains of Route 10 and the southern area leading into Lavender Town.
Description
Rock Tunnel is a pitch-black cavern consisting of two main floors. Because of the lack of natural light, trainers traditionally rely on the move Flash to navigate its winding corridors. The cave is a prominent habitat for Rock- and Ground-type Pokémon, and its rugged walls are often rich with harvestable minerals.
Features
- Navigation: The cave is notoriously difficult to traverse without a light source due to its maze-like structure and multiple ladders.
- Mineral Deposits: Many rocks within the cave can be broken apart, occasionally revealing hidden items or rare Pokémon.
