Route 8 is an east-west route located in central Kanto. It connects the quiet Lavender Town to the bustling metropolis of Saffron City.
Description
Route 8 is a straight path populated by several trainers, including a group of gamblers. Like its counterpart, Route 7, the main gate to Saffron City is often closed to travelers, necessitating the use of the Underground Path to reach the western side of the region. The route features a large, walled-off patch of tall grass where many evolved Pokémon reside.
