Vermilion City vs Team Rocket is a side quest located in the Kanto region. It involves defending the local businesses of Vermilion City from a Team Rocket shakedown and assisting the local police force in managing a mischievous Pokémon.
Walkthrough
The Clothing Store Confrontation
Upon entering the **Vermilion City Clothing Store**, the player is immediately confronted by the notorious Team Rocket duo, **Jessie and James**. They are attempting to harass the store owner and will engage the player in a Double Battle.

Visit the Officer Station
Once the duo is defeated, they will flee the premises. A cutscene triggers featuring **Officer Jenny**, who thanks the player for their intervention. She requests that the player visit the **Officer Station**—a new building located near the **Vermilion Docks**—to discuss a separate matter regarding public order.
Quest Rewards
After speaking with Officer Jenny at the station, she explains that a specific Pokémon has been leading a pack of troublemakers around town. She asks the player to take responsibility for it to keep it out of further trouble.
