Saffron City is a sprawling golden metropolis located in the center of the Kanto region. Known for its modern architecture, corporate influence, and advanced technology, it serves as a major hub for commerce and transport.

"Saffron City! Shining, Golden Land of Commerce."

Overview

Saffron City contrasts sharply with smaller towns in Kanto, defined by its business-driven atmosphere and Psychic-type Pokémon culture.

Entry Requirements

Access to the city is initially restricted by security guards stationed at the gatehouses.

  • To gain entry, trainers must obtain Tea from Celadon City.
  • Once the guards receive the Tea, all entrances to Saffron City become permanently accessible.
