'''Route 17''', commonly known as the **Cycling Road**, is a long, north-south downhill path located over the water in western Kanto. It is a favorite hangout for Biker gangs and Cue Balls, and it is famous for its unique slope that forces travelers to move southward.

Route 17 is a paved bridge that requires a Bicycle to traverse. Due to its steep incline, trainers will automatically coast downward if they stop pedaling. The route is divided into three lanes: the main downhill path, a central grass divider, and side paths populated by numerous trainers looking for a fight.
